These terms govern your use of Broke or Not, a calendar-based personal budget planner available at app.brokeornot.com and as mobile applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Broke or Not lets you record incomes and expenses — one-off or recurring — and shows a projected running balance on a calendar. Projections are calculated from the entries you provide; they are only as accurate as the data you enter.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide a valid email address that you control. One person per account; you must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to breach security, disrupt operation, access other users' data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your data stays yours

The financial entries, categories, and notes you add belong to you. We store and process them solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

Not financial advice

Broke or Not is a planning tool, not a financial adviser. Balance projections and any other outputs are informational only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify important financial decisions independently.

Availability & warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Broke or Not and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any financial losses arising from reliance on projections or from use or inability to use the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with or without notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
